For years I have never deviated from a tequila based margarita. To do so would have been sacrilege! However, in the name of Gin, I gave it a go with Fortune Signature Dry Gin. Botanicals include juniper; green tea; honeydew; lemon peel; cassia; lavender; corriander; lemon grass. A perfectly refreshing cocktail on these hot summer nights. Throw in a few G&T oysters and life doesn’t get much better!

45 ml Gin
30ml Cointreau (or Triple Sec ~ but I prefer Cointreau)
30ml Lime Juice
Ice cubes

Rim a margarita glass with salt flakes
In a cocktail shaker – Ice; Gin & Cointreau

Shakey Shake…. wiggle your hips…
Shake some more and pour!
